Subject: Self-Reflection of Technical Description

I believe I met the requirements of the assignment. I provided an understandable clear background of the product and followed the technical writing checklist to make sure I present all the necessary information for my technical description of the DualSense Edge controller and all its parts. 

Something I did well on was providing the description and use of every button and feature on the controller. I provided a definition to each individual part and why it was created taken from many sources to make sure every part was well researched for. I organized each information within bullets to organize logically and state the objectives clearly. I also made sure to include necessary counts such as the number of stick caps and back buttons. Although all the stick caps serve the same purpose and all the back buttons serve the same purpose I found it necessary to provide the amount to help the reader visualize the proper amount of objects connected to the product that help execute its features.

Another thing I did well on was providing all the graphics to every corner of the product.

I provided graphics to the top, button, front, rear, and under the front cover in the order of its sections. I also provided proper citations to all the resources I used researching the product’s parts and its uses in the APA format.

Something I can improve on is referencing my sources while I enter the information. I had multiple tabs open that had me lost and confused because some I read to understand and others I read and used the information in my technical description. 

To conclude, my technical description provided a well written background, clear and proper graphics, APA formatted citations, and organized information on the DualSense Edge controller with well written clear information for the reader to understand. The technical description gave details and numbers to the information but for future assignments my writing can be improved with a more organized process to make sure I am able to reference my work efficiently.
